How we think about ratings
A quick guide for anyone new to PadelPush.
One number, one scale
Your PadelPush rating is a single number from 1.0 (new to padel) to 6.5 (elite). We work it out from a few questions about your game when you sign up, so everyone is on the same scale — fair whether you play in Spain, Portugal, England or anywhere else.
The whole point is to put you in matches that feel good: close, competitive, and worth turning up for. A shared scale is what makes that possible when the four people on court have never met.
What each level means

| 2.0 – 2.5 | Can sustain a rally and keep the ball in play |
| 3.0 – 3.5 | Comfortable competing, using the walls |
| 4.0 – 4.5 | Strong club player, plays regularly |
| 5.0 – 5.5 | Advanced / tournament level |
| 6.0 – 6.5 | Elite / semi-pro |
It describes what you can do — not who you've beaten
A PadelPush rating is a picture of your game: how you move, where you position yourself, which shots you can rely on. We build it from your answers when you join, not from a leaderboard. That means a newcomer and a lifelong player are described in the same honest terms, and you can be matched sensibly from your very first game.
It doesn't jump around after every match
Winning a match doesn't push your number up, and losing one doesn't drag it down. Padel is doubles — some nights your partner carries you, some nights the draw is tough — so a single result is a noisy signal of how well someone actually plays. Your rating is meant to be a steady, trustworthy description of your level, not a scoreboard that swings with your last game.
As you play more, we get more confident that your rating is right, and over time we'll help you refine it. But it moves deliberately — not on the back of one good or bad night.
Already have a Playtomic rating?
You can add it and we'll convert it to your PadelPush rating — a Playtomic number means slightly different things depending on the country, so we adjust for that. When in doubt, go one step lower: it's better to find a well-matched partner than to over-claim. Nobody enjoys the game where they're outclassed, and neither does the person on the other side of it.

Not sure which level you are?
Go a touch lower than your instinct and let a few games settle it. It's easy to move up once you're clearly winning comfortably, and much more fun than being thrown in at the deep end. Honest ratings are what make matchmaking work — for you and for everyone you play with.
